Kayamandi on Foot
This walking adventure starts and ends at the Ikhaya Trust Centre in Kayamandi, where you will meet your local resident guide, receive a historic briefing on the area. The journey sets off on foot in a circular route, weaving through shacks and visiting participating community shops, businesses, schools and attractions. The walk is not strenuous but comfortable shoes and a hat are essential.

Bike and E-Bike Rental
Stellenbosch is a perfect place to explore with a bicycle or an e-bike. The Bike rental, helmet, lock and puncture repair kit is included in the rate. The mountain bikes can be used for town cruising and going onto the Stellenbosch Trail fund trails through the town and into the many fantastic routes in Stellenbosch Mountain or the Jonkershoek Nature reserve.
Costs: R 300 per day bike rental or R500 per day for E-Bike Rental.
E-Bike Boschendal Breakfast ride
Half day tour to spend an active outdoor day with friends or family on a guided E-Bike tour. Cycle from Stellenbosch to Boschendal Wine estate via arguable the most scenic valley in the Winelands. We will ride along the Stellenbosch Trail Fund trails through town and up into Idas Valley and the Banhoek Conservancy trails to Boschendal. Our guide will lead the way and give insights into the area and impart local knowledge. Our bus will transport you back to Stellenbosch early afternoon
Cycle the STF trails with a guide
The Stellenbosch Trail Fund have helped to establish Stellenbosch as a MTB hotspot. Bring your own bike (or rent one form us) and come enjoy some of the best trails in the country with one of our guides to show you the way.
Guided Bike Tour through Stellenbosch and Vineyards
This tour combines the beautiful scenery and sites of Historic Stellenbosch with excellent wine pairings and some healthy outdoor exercise.
The tour starts with a historic tour of Stellenbosch, visiting some of the historic sites in town. We will cycle through Stellenbosch and head to the scenic Jonkershoek valley. A winding road through oak and poplar forests will take you to a wine estate nestled in the valley bottom, here you can take in the stunning views while doing wine tasting of award winning wines on an island in a lake.
On the way out of the valley, you will stop at another wine estate which sports beautiful grounds and historic Cape Dutch architecture. Here we will do a cellar tour before we start our Chocolate and Wine pairing that will make your taste buds tingle.
After the tasting we will head back into Stellenbosch Town via the Stellenbosch University before ending the tour again at our office
There are some variations to the route, with varying levels of difficulty so the tour can be tailored to suit your cycling ability. Family tours can also be booked.
