A little piece of paradise!
My husband & I stayed at Bonne Esperance & had a wonderful time. Not only are the staff extremely friendly & welcoming, but our room was also beautiful (deluxe with balcony), the breakfast delicious & the location superb! We strolled the leafy streets of Stellenbosch & explored the town on foot - everything is a few minutes walk away!
We will highly recommend a stay at Bonne Esperance!
We had an overall very nice and relaxing experience. Thank you. We will most certainly visit again.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, making you feel at home.
We commend you on your excellent service! Just as a bonus, the bed was extremely comfortable!
If we visit Stellenbosch again one day, as I hope we will, we’ll definitely return to the Bonne Esperance, this time booking in advance and spending more than just one night so that we can fully enjoy the lovely living room and the magical garden. Best regards, Cara & Harald, Vienna, Austria.
We were extremely pleased with our room and the location. My request for a ground-floor room was adhered to, which impressed me. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. I would love to think that I would be back one day.
I loved all the little “treasures” (well-read books, antique bottles, collectable wall plates, etc.) that are strewn throughout the rooms and the beautiful garden filled with all things bright and beautiful, including clay pots filled with cacti, reminded me of sunny days spent at my late gran’s house as a curious child inspecting what the garden had to offer. You have created a lovely home-away-from-home atmosphere.
We just enjoyed our stay in your place very much and will recommend you to our friends who are planning to come to your lovely country.
We enjoyed our stay on our second visit. Bonne Esperance is well-located and within walking distance to town. The staff were friendly and gave valuable hints on places to visit around Stellenbosch. They know about the finer touches and made this an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended. We will return.
