Plunge Pool
A visit to Stellenbosch in summer is well worth your while - the sunny weather and cloudless skies make an afternoon by the pool hard to resist. Settle in with a good book, a chilled glass of wine, and nothing on the agenda.
All guests have access to a plunge pool at their respective property. Studio and Villa guests are welcome to come over to the main guest house pool during pool hours if they'd like refreshments.
We offer cool drinks, wine, and cheese platters while you relax on a sun lounger.
Mobile Beauty Spa
A mobile beauty therapist can be booked to indulge in a luxury treatment in your room. Please email to request a price list or make a booking.
Garden
Our garden is a living, ever-changing space that has something beautiful to offer in every season. In winter, a magnificent magnolia comes into bloom, followed by jasmine and our famous century-old rose bush in spring - perfectly timed for Garden Town Stellenbosch. Come summer, daylilies and water lilies add colour and charm, and the garden is alive with birdsong from the many birds that call it home.
Our gardener Johnson tends the garden with real love and pride - keep an eye out for his signature round topiaries dotted throughout. At the end of the garden path, a stately indigenous Water Pear tree provides welcome shade and seems to invite you further in.
Laundry Service
We offer a same-day laundry service, Monday to Friday. Laundry is not available on weekends or public holidays.
To use the service, complete the Laundry Service Docket found behind the bathroom door and place it along with your laundry in the bag provided. Leave the bag on your bed and housekeeping will collect it. Please make sure your name and room number are on the docket.
Sustainability
At Bonne Esperance Boutique Guest House and Studio Apartments, sustainability is part of how we live and work - not just a policy on a page. We've made practical choices to reduce our environmental footprint, and we love it when our guests join us in that effort.
