Borehole Water and Heat Pump System

We draw water from our own borehole, reducing reliance on municipal supply and helping to protect local water resources. Our heat pump system heats water for showers and amenities efficiently, cutting energy use and our overall carbon footprint.

Renewable Energy

Our rooftop solar panels harness the South African sunshine to power the property, supported by lithium-ion battery backup so we stay running smoothly - even during load shedding. It's good for the environment, and it means uninterrupted comfort for you.

Recycling

We separate and recycle paper, plastic, glass, and organic waste throughout the property. Our team is committed to responsible waste management, and we encourage guests to make use of the recycling facilities during their stay.

Getting Around Sustainably

Stellenbosch is a beautiful town to explore without a car. E-scooters are available for hire in town, and we're happy to assist with bike rental arrangements - just ask at reception.

How You Can Help

Small habits make a real difference. We kindly ask guests to use water mindfully, switch off lights and air conditioners when leaving the room, and make use of the recycling provided. Every little bit counts.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team is a priority. Our property is maintained to a high standard, with regular safety checks and clear emergency procedures in place. Should you have any concerns during your stay, please don't hesitate to speak to us directly.

Our pool is available daily from 7:00 to 21:00. No lifeguard is on duty - please swim responsibly, supervise children at all times, and keep pool gates closed.
