The Cape Town and Winelands International Film Festival kicks off on Friday, November 1st and stretches until November 10th. For 10 days, this festival will showcase an array of feature films, short films and documentaries which pivot on the theme of Reconciliation and Acceptance of “The Other”. In addition to the screenings, a number of tributes and symposia will take place.

For nature lovers and flower enthusiasts, the first annual Cape Rose Gardens Tour will be taking place on Saturday, November 2nd. This flora festival, which is the brainchild of RoseWeb and Ludwig’s Roses & Tuis magazine, encompasses a variety of venues around the Cape and the tour hosts have secured transport and meals for the event. Wander through some spectacular rose gardens and wineries in Stellenbosch, Paarl and Wellington, with the tour ending at Ludwig’s Roses.

Considered as one of the most creative events of the year, the warmly anticipated Kamers vol Geskenke will take place over the course of six days, from November 5th to November 10th. The Kamers team will be based at the Webersburg wine estate in Stellenbosch, where a wide selection of exclusive and finely crafted goods will be on display.
