Summer is here! There is no better way to celebrate summer than with a glass of Methode Cap Classique. In this month's newsletter we feature our favourite wine farms for a MCC tasting in Stellenbosch and Franschoek. Visiting Villieria and Le Lude is perfect for one of those fun filled summer days. With a variety of places to choose from, these two stand out due to their wider selection and quality.

Amazink Live! is back for the 5th season. The dinner theatre is located in Kayamandi (Xhosa for “nice home”), a township in the outskirts of Stellenbosch.

Our central location offers our guests the opportunity to walk to all the incredible restaurants in the city centre. Unfortunately a lot of the restaurants close during the Festive Season, so it's crucial to make a booking.Below you'll find our favourite restaurants in town. They form part of Annemien's Restaurant Recommendation List, which you'll find in each room's information booklet.

At the foot of the Cape Fold Belt, Stellenbosch's Mediterranean climate means that it’s a primary location for viticulture. Conditions are also perfect for growing the kind of produce that attracts world-renowned chefs to restaurants in the region. Paired with tranquil surroundings, a visit to Stellenbosch is one culinary experience you shouldn't miss.

As you probably know, we are situated in the heart of Stellenbosch. The wine bars are all a 3 to 10 minute walk away, making it the perfect place to go for pre-drinks before indulging at any of the wonderful restaurants in the town center. It's also a great way to sample wine if you don't have the time to visit any of the many world-class wine farms in the area.

Stellenbosch boasts a wide variety of coffee shops that are perfect for one of those rainy winter days.
